Here are five for you to consider – Lud’s Church Ride – Based just five miles outside of central Leek this is a challenging but rewarding ride which lasts just over 8 miles. The Roaches Ride – The Roaches is one of the most scenic areas of the Moorlands and this 12.5 miles ride is a beautiful and hilly route. If you require parking, you can also use the nearby Tittesworth Reservoir. Biddulph to Staffordshire Way Loop – This pleasant 10-mile ride will take you on bridleways and quieter roads on the Biddulph Valley Way to the Staffordshire Way in a loop. Bosley Cloud Ride – A scenic route around Bosley Cloud takes you past the prehistoric Bridestones plus a section of bridleway by the River Dane. The Bosley Cloud ride is a shade over 9 miles and perfect for a summer day. Nick o’ th’ Hill – A much shorter ride (3.7 miles) than the ones we’ve previously discussed, Nick o’ th’ Hill offers excellent views and is good fitness training due to its steep hills.
